Plants at Cambridge

Plants at Cambridge brings together all plant science activities across the University of Cambridge showcasing work in the Department of Plant Sciences, the Sainsbury Laboratory, the Crop Science Centre, the Botanic Garden, the Herbarium and the Conservation Research Institute. As well as conducting world-leading research, we provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, train early career researchers, care for our collections, interact with industry colleagues and engage with the public. There are more than 35 research groups across the University working on plant science-related research. The strength and depth in plant science at the University and its location within one of England's prime agricultural areas, close to important industry and research partners such as NIAB, positions it at the epicentre of plant science research in the UK.
